ZAHRA GOLAFSHANI
MOTION PICTURE DIRECTOR

Zahra Golafshani is a director currently prepping a number of feature film projects. Accolades include several consecutive nominations and wins for her short films in Academy Award, BAFTA, and, Canadian Screen Award qualifying film festivals, as well as monetary awards from both BravoFact and Northern-Ontario Provincial Funds for her short film BULLET-HEADED. She received her BFA degree with honors in Motion Picture Arts and an MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute. Zahra has received mentorship from acclaimed filmmakers such as Zal Batmanglij and Chinonye Chukwu.
