ZAHRA GOLAFSHANI
MOTION PICTURE DIRECTOR

Zahra Golafshani is a director currently preparing several feature film projects. She has earned numerous accolades, including multiple consecutive nominations and wins for her short films at Academy Award, BAFTA, and Canadian Screen Award qualifying festivals. Additionally, her short film BULLET-HEADED received monetary awards from both BravoFact and Northern Ontario Provincial Funds. Zahra holds a BFA with honors in Motion Picture Arts and an MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute. She has been mentored by acclaimed filmmakers such as Zal Batmanglij and Chinonye Chukwu.
